Xavier Verdaguer, Computer Engineer and serial entrepreneur, will be responsible for the opening speech of the 20th Night of Telecommunications and Computer Science, the landmark event for the Catalan ICT sector that will take place on February 26, 2015 in the Auditorium (Lepant, 150, Barcelona), and will be hosted again by the journalist Xavier Graset.

During his speech, titled “Disruptive Innovation: a train you can not miss” Verdaguer, who is founder of the Imagine Creativity Center in Silicon Valley, will tell stories of success (both in Catalonia and in Silicon Valley), which will help attendees learn to innovate better.

The 20th Night, jointly organized by the Catalan Association of Telecommunications Engineers and the College of Engineering in Computer Science (COEINF), is also the framework of delivery of the Salvà i Campillo Awards (prestigious award that recognizes the personality of the year and the young entrepreneur), the Alan Turing Awards (which, in their third edition, will award the CIO of the Year and social responsibility), and the Honor Award of the Night (the call remains open until January 22, more information here).

Since, as every year, CTecno is collaborating with the organization of the event again this year, it has a discount code for our associates, which will be operational until February 1st. The reduced price is 30 euros instead of the 45 of a general admission ticket. The code can be obtained by contacting or You can register here.
